Well done John:dbgrtmb: this blight buisness has been a pain this year...I've never come across it before...luckily for me it hasn't reached my GH but my outdoor Maskotkas were finished a while back....The Beefmasters i grew for the first time turned out well and i was surprised just how tastey they were...think i'll give them another go next year:dbgrtmb:

That's funny John, my Delicious have a great taste, not as refined as Big Boy but I'll certainly sow the last remaining seed I have next year.

I've just got to get some Big Zacs in for comparison

Maybe I'm being unfair to Delicious as I've only eaten two of them so far. I'll update the thread when I eat these last two :dbgrtmb:

Big Zac's have a low germination rate by all accounts. that's in the USA, I wonder how they will perform over here with we expert tomato growers? :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

You need this special variety for that: [IMG]

But getting back to more serious matters, is it now time to declare the results of this contest? (although we are still awaiting the official weighing in of Zigs' Big Zogs)
