What else should I be taking cuttings of?

I'm not planning to take any from my Brugs ... the ones I've got are bog-standard plain ones; the more fancy ones I have haven't done very much this year (not sure why ... they haven't grown very much), but after chatting to Alan Grey @ East Ruston I would like some ordinary golden-yellow ones (stupidly forgot to ask him what variety he grew) as he reckoned they flowered earliest/longest/most compared to the fancy ones.

I'll grow the few fancy ones I have in big containers and bring them onto the terrace when they are fit-to-bust

I wonder if it would be worth potting-on rooted cuttings into a "narrow trough" - bit like a root-trainer, but of the required depth and long and thin, perhaps only an inch wide.

Then once they have grown on enough to "despatch" take out of the trough, wrap compost with cling film, and then roll up like a swiss-roll. I think the plants would get less damaged in transit all bunched up like that, and the plants could just be identified in a written list, starting from one end, rather than the labels falling off in the post etc ...

have you been watching Khriss video? starting from cutting next year it will be easy then seeds , I`ve left my tradescantia zebrina in the greenhouse last year -3/4 only got a tiny bit surviving and I`ve manged to get lots of plnts again this year , despite the weather we had.

Yes I usually wrap in wet paper and cling film wrap .
ps have you got zebrina and fulminensii?

I will repeat what I said on the seed swap thread. I have taken some cuttings of :-

        various Brugmansia
        Iochroma coccinea
        Iochroma "Plum Paradise"
        Iochrome "Violet Churchu"
        Iochrome "Trebah"
        Duranta repens and
        Streptosolen jamesonii

Other than the Brugs - I haven't taken cuttings of any of the others before. The problem with Brugs is that they are so big that they take up most of the space. But I would like to try and fit some others in.
