Clare, my heart goes out to you (wipes away tears). He sounds like a wonderful and loving 'person' who brought sunshine into your life. You obviously gave him lots of love and he's up there now, smiling at you.

Thank you Shiney. We were lucky to have him for so long, all things considered. But it doesn't make it any easier, does it? William was like Oscar - one of those special creatures.

Clare, I am so sad to hear of the loss of your lovely William. He had a wonderful home with you and he loved you so much he just had to stay with you that little bit longer.

We thought we were going to lose our Magic Sam just after the New Year ... but after 25 days of antibiotics and force feeding with a syringe (not pleasant) he rallied through because he probably decided he wanted to see his 17th birthday this year!

William is up there watching you so remember all the good times and smile. xx :cat-kittyandsmiley:

Thank you so much, Victoria. I'm so glad to hear that Magic Sam is ok. My Mum's cat, Bonny, is still going strong at 17. Mum has recently had a hip replacement op but the cat still ends up with most of her bed, because she doesn't like to disturb him!

So sorry about William, Clare. It's hard to lose our lovelies at anytime. He had a brilliant, loving home with you and your family. I know you will miss him but always remember the love.

Hi Clare, I really am sorry to hear about William. Pets get into your heart without you even realising it and then when you lose one it's heart breaking. But at least you can comfort yourself knowing he loved you and was kept safe and happy in your care.

Clare, my Magic Sam has been sticking to me like velcro lately ... in the bed like your Mum's Bonny and wherever I go and sit and do things (even when I am on the loo, like at 4am this morning, seriously), when I am here on the computer or sitting watching the TV or outside reading a book. He sleeps under the duvet curled up to me as he has done since day dot. It's very annoying at times but I can't not let him do what he wants ...and one thing is eat cheese slices or triangles daily .. like scoff, scoff, scoff ...

I will let him do what he wants to do and I will hold my breath and let him take me over ... he deserves to do what he wants to do and I am his servant. :love30:
Your Mum is like me ...a pushover .. and tell her I said so ... xx :cat-kittyandsmiley:
