      Hi all again !! :snork:

      2nd set of pictures

Honey frames sitting inside the super ready to have the thin wax on the outside to be cut off with a knife dipped in very hot water , this is sliced off as you can see the last photo shows all the wax has been cut off exposing all the honey

        Last ones :dbgrtmb:

I put the frames in the spinner turn the handle slowly and the honey comes out I then turn it around and spin the other side out

It goes through two mesh filters one course one very fine, to collect all the loose pieces of wax etc.

The last picture is off all the wax capping left over which I could make Mead out off

What a fascinating series of piccies Spruce. My tum started rumbling as I viewed more and more. A great yield and worth every penny that you sell it for. Grade A honey from Beeland's Mayfair and Park Lane.
Simply the best; thanks for the show Spruce,
            Jenny

              Forgot to ask,
how do you know if it will be runny honey or spread on your bread consistency?

              Hi Jenny

It will be runny honey and I have on my Weetabix (other cereals are available) :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I will explain set honey at a later date and how this is made, over the Winter month's as I want to keep the thread enjoyable and interesting.

You certainly have been a busy bee - fantastic and informative pics and a :goodpost:. This is the first time I have read this thread and have found it a great read - sorry I didn't get involved with the thread earlier. Do we get a detailed script next on how to make mead? Hope so and if it is as interesting as this one it will be worth looking forward to.

                        Hi G A
If you want.. your thread as much as mine , I dont know if we have any "Home Brewers " on here ?? , I should really as all the wax capping are ideal to make a mead and I do have several recipes that I could use , or send them to Loli and she can make a Christmas candle :ccheers:

I say go for it spruce, I love both honey and mead but have only ever bought them from a shop. Attempted to make some wine once but the kids drank it before it I had chance to bottle it.
My father always had a spoonful of honey everyday - it's one of the lovely memories I have of him, he said it was better than any tonic.
