                  Well the first day went okay. I was only there from 11 am until 3.30 pm. The first few hours were spent sitting in a cafe drinking Starbucks, then having lunch, then we all went to the little shopping centre nearby and then spent about an hour and a half in the office.

                  Today we're at an annual conference at a hotel out in the country so will be meeting lots of new colleagues (which is a bit of a nightmare for me with my Aspergers) but it's got to be done.

                  The people in my team are lovely and all have a great sense of humour, which is a big bonus :blue thumb:

                      Today was okay. Went on a bit long, but we had a few drinks afterwards. Most people were staying for dinner/overnight but I didn't fancy it.

                      It was a bit overwhelming because we were all allocated tables and I didn't know anybody sitting at mine, plus it was right at the front in the middle of the room, so in plain view of everyone. I was made to stand up and introduce myself to the room. Pretty much all things I hate, but I got through it.

                      Anyway, first full day in the office tomorrow but can't do much until they sort out my laptop and Blackberry.
