I had half a can of Guinness earlier. The other half went into the slow cooker that was slowly cooking the diced steak, carrots and onions that went into my pie.

 

It was delicious. There's loads left too

I feel worse today than I did yesterday, but this time just really, really run down. I know the liver has to work hard to deal with paracetamol, and I've taken more of it in the last 3 days than in the previous 10 years. I guess I ought to sleep really.

 

Right that's it....bed,sofa where ever you are most comfy....alternate tea/coffee with mug of boiled water... sleep all day if you need to:patpat:....Get well soon....

Auxillary - on bed pan duty this morning

 

I set off to work. Nearly got there and everything. Trouble is, I started to get travel sick in my own car. That can't happen, because travel sickness only happens when the signals your brain collects don't match (like seeing scenery whizzing past at speed, but the you feel like you're hardly moving because the car is comfy).

So I figured I'm clearly not quite back to 100%, and truth be told, probably barely 50% of my normal capability. So I pulled over, phone my boss, calmed myself down a til I'd stopped spinning, and then drove back home again.

you are a nutter. No one gets over proper flu that quickly. For your own safety and that of others, stay away from the car. A walk to get some fresh air in your lungs is OK but NO MORE. Vitamin C, proper chicken broth and rest!!
