I don't know. The bindweed they sold me is perfectly healthy, although it was mislabelled as some kind of soft fruit bush (can't remember which).

Dunno whether you're allowed to mention names but whenever I travel from Fishguard to Oxford I always divert to this guy.

Nicest and best value, independent nursery of the lot (in my opinion).

I always thought the village was in North Gloucestershire but when I was there last, before the crack of dawn, waiting for him to wake up and open, the village seems to have sidled into Worcestershire. Can villages sidle? :dunno:

It's sometimes difficult for the small independant nurseries to keep prices really low, not having economies of scale and only potting up a few of this and a few of that etc. I work in the garden side of this place, but I know it's not been a good year for plant sales, pity! It would be a shame to see small independant places with so many varieties go (e.g. check out the catalogue for number of different hardy geraniums alone) Closed for the season now and no mail order unfortunately.

I'm not at liberty to say who, but a certain GC member has just bought 3 acres of land with a barn to convert and intends to start a full on propper nursery:dbgrtmb:

Going out to have a look and advise on the building next week:cool:
