The last salad plant if you can call it that, :heehee: that is left in my greenhouse is this very sad looking cucumber plant, I've left it until I can take the last growing cu off it this weekend. How it's still managed to produce I haven't got a clue!

        Snap, though mine went today
Very Tasty but was not as crisp as it should have been, So I think once the leaves have gone, then the fruit starts dying too

I won't swap you Zigs, you can keep the aphids! :heehee: I've bought corgettes today that were bigger than this, but the cu's weren't meant to grow more than six or seven inches anyway. :)

All I've got left are 4 tomato plants, a few fruit still on them but the grey mould is taking hold. If I had time I'd clean them out.

My last cucumber was very bitter, I still have a lot of spinach, will it survive if the temperature drops? I have yet to look at my parsnips, hopefully they will taste better after the chill. :psnp:

Spinage will struggle on thru the cold, it flumps but then picks up again, bit like Armandii.

I guess tomorrow I'll have to have a look in the blowaway and rescue any surviving chilli plants and bring them in.

Only one tomato and three pepper plants left in the greenhouse and they're on their last legs! Cleared out the other plants yesterday and moved my citrus plants in for the winter. I'm just waiting now for a sunny day so I can give the greenhouse a thorough clean ready for next seasons endeavours. :dbgrtmb:
