Different era Freddy. :) The first album I bought was by Tyrannosaurus Rex, that LED on to the best rock band ever of course.............Zeppelin! My love of music is rock based with a smattering of other things including blues and opera.

One way to do it is to Google the song you want and preface the search with typing youtube.
It should then give you a number of choices to access it.
Click on what you want and you will have the video of the music.
Highlight the address of the page (usually it's at the top of your browser).
        Right click mouse and 'copy'.
Then paste it in your post on here.

Just timed it, and it took me 53 seconds to get this and post it :dbgrtmb:

I was at a party last weekend...the crowd ranged from toddlers to folks in their nineties....the DJ wasn't making an impression on anyone untill he played this track then the dancefloor was full:dbgrtmb:

As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter what era music comes from, if it's good, then it's good:blue thumb:

BTW, ZEP are probably my favourite band;) If you ever get a chance, there's a tribute band you should go see, 'Whole Lotta Led', they're really good :)

              Cheers...Freddy

Shiney..... thanks for the info, I'll give it a go. :dbgrtmb:

Loli..... Great sound! There's something that stirs the emotions when we here Glenn Miller's music, even for those of us that didn't live through the war years. The odd thing is I was reading about Glenn Miller last night in a novel set in 1944. :)

I don't know if I could go and see a tribute band Freddy, it just wouldn't be the same.

My daughter saw a tribute band in Canada earlier this year called 'Led Zepagain'. She sent me pictures and a short video she took and I have to admit they were pretty good, not only the music but even the look and mannerism's of the band.

I'm not sure if they are Canadian or American. My daughter got to meet them and told them that if they came to Britain they would get a great reception as they were so good. :)

I'm listening Freddy. You are right - compositions have similar structure. Mine was first cut by O V Wright in 1964 (so Wiki informs me ) when did Rod Stewart do his version of yours? So who copied who?
