EU to ban hairdressers from wearing high heels & jewellery

The pub near where I used to work introduced a ban on their staff wearing high heels once. This ban was introduced the same day that I unusually had to wait an hour for my jacket potato, even though it would normally be ready by the time I walked through the door.

It transpired that the timing of both events was no coincidence, as they had both arisen from the same event that occurred moments before I walked in, the landlord told me later. There kitchen was unusually upstairs. The very nice young lady had gone up to collect my dinner, wearing her high heels, and on her way back down the stairs had inadvertently discovered a much quicker way to descend the stairs. Consequently my dinner was all over the stairs and floor, and she was banned from wearing high heels at work.

 

Who is EU anyway. And why do they have to get involved? BUT, can't folks just practice common sense and wear low shoes. Reminds me of a female doctor gyn with very long finger nails, did not see her again.

A number of decades ago, there was an effort from a certain part of Europe to take control of the whole of Europe without being elected by the people, in fact this effort was bitterly and fiercely resisted. The regime had some crazy ideas, attempting to dictate, for example, what people could or could not read, what they could believe, and even what they were allowed to look like. The plan then was to unite Europe in this idiotic view, and then from there to have a much bigger influence on the rest of the world. Fortunately the major of people in the majority of affected nations saw that this was a terrible idea, and nearly 6 years later, after horrendous losses on all sides and at tremendous expense, the initiative was finally put to bed.

Then a few decades later, someone else decided to ressurect the idea. Only this time they realised that you can't get away with too much in one go, but rather you have to chip away a bit at a time, allowing people chance to complain but ultimately just get used to the idea, before moving onto the next step. The goal is the same, to unite Europe in a set of stupid ideas that suit a select few at the expense of the majority.

A major difference is that last time, Britain was among the first to say no. This time, it was a British weasel who signed our great nation over to Europe by his own free will.

 

Like I'd listen. My shop, my rules. End of! And if I want to wear heels, who 's gonna stop me????

 

Ok, so what needs to happen is to identify that --example 4 inches is considered high heeled, then hire several folks to go around with a measuring tape to visit stores and to measure the heels of folks, then give them a ticket. that is it. the agenda.

Last time my hairdresser was wearing high heels , she looked so good that I came out with ......you done a marvellous job , feel really bad but don`t have any change for the tip, do you mind if ill`pay you a drink after work?? That was 7 years ago and she is my missus now

 

It would be difficult to make up something more stupid than this. I thought it was a joke when I was first told of it.

 

My missus ( who wasnt my missus at the time) was a client that used to come into the salon. Strangely, wasn't a client of mine, I just talked to her. She passed one of the girls her phone no to give to me. Took me a year to phone her!!!
