      I saw something earlier on the news that suggested it was going to head inland (northwesterly) for the next day or so, then turn and head out northeasterly from the weekend. I presume that it will have lost a lot of its 'puff' by the weekend, but that would still put it right on course to hit the UK (and Scotland in particular)

                  I've just been watching the weather channel on the Daily Mail website. The presenter holds the mic to his ear, becomes quiet and says in a serious voice. 'We have reports coming in that two windows have been blown out in Boston, more after the commercial break' :dunno:
