        Yes you're probably right Robajobs, but when two of my children are close to disaster in two different areas, I think I'm entitled to be nervous. My daughter lives outside Vancouver which is close to the 7.7 earthquake that happened yesterday.

        We have a lovely Nepalese lass by the name of Snigdha in New York who works for the New York Times. I have sent her a Skype message but she is not on line ATM. The BBC 10 o'clock news footage looks awesome and scary.

            Still lots of rain. Our creek has crested, hope it won't flood the gazebo. Some high wind. Electric still good. Heard tonight they are closing all bridges to Manhantan, NY. Yep, close, but New Jersey closer. I have not left the house today. My staff are in place at the group homes, hunkered down for the night. I did make sure all my homes have supplies ready for this weather. So they are good.

              My thoughts and prayers are with all you folk across the pond and hope that everyone connected to this forum have come through it unscathed.Sky news says that so far 13 people have lost their lives which is 13 too many and no doubt could be higher as time goes on:sad:

                  Morning everyone,

                  It was windy here lastnight, our power flickered a few times, and i didnt have any internet otherwise i would have popped in.

                  No real damage.....broken branches and a few signs down here and there.

                  It was snowing here when i went to bed, but thank god its melted already, not ready to deal with that just yet.
