    My house made it. No electric outage. Some small branches and limbs down. But it is still raining and raining. The only worry if tree roots up root themselves due to the wet soil.

    It seems like the cuddle factor has worked yet again for the GC members being threatened by Sandy. Congrats to those who cared enough to join in the :grphg:

    Can we now work on deflecting the tailend towards the North Pole and not across to the UK mainland, as usually happens.:dbgrtmb:

      this is also an after effect of Sandy in the sense that regularely after Usa the storms move to Iceland.
      At the moment they have a lot of snow in the north (where the pictures are taken today) and terrible winds (that lift people from the pavement) at the south, in the Reykjavik area.

      How about sending it south instead? Any major weather fronts in the arctic usually get us up north sooner or later.
