          FC, from someone who's now the wrong side of 50, here's a few other things you can look forward to:

          Expect less sleep, as there will be an increase in the frequency of your nocturnal toilet visits.

          You will regularly find yourself standing in the kitchen/living room/bedroom/shed wishing you could remember what on earth you went in there for.

          You begin to think that, actually, some of the stuff on Radio 4 is rather interesting.

          You get an inexplicable urge to spend lots of time discussing gardening on the internet.

                          Oh gawd! Its all downhill then!

                          I remember my granny telling me when I was a kid that time went quicker the older you got, and I used to think she was talking nonsense - - but she was absolutely right! The other nugget was "Old age doesn't come itself"; and again, it appears she was right, as it comes with additional hair, forgetfulness and funny noises.

                          Not sure that I will ever graduate to radio 4 though - hopefully got a good few years of radio 2 in me yet!
