A video of our garden

Looks great , reminds me back home were many gardens were tropical.
Ill be happy for such a garden but the Mrs. wants English borders .We are still planning...

 

Where was back home? And persude the Mrs to go exotic!

Israel, at the 80s it was a mass trend to go tropical there , so in the years that I was a gardener was working in many tropical gardens. At some point we had a nursery, and we collected lots of material from customers gardens .

( some plants that are indoor here were jungle - and you can take cuttings at sizes of 2ft of draccenas , and we raised thousands of palms and cycas from seeds that we got at gardens that we worked in .)

Ill have to show my wife the video to inspire her, on the other hand being surrounded with shropshire fields it may look slightly different... we are still in the process of buying so got sometime to decide till coming spring I guess. If it will not be the garden - ill take over the conservatory

 

Gaz- what a wonderful jungle. It is inspirational - and set me thinking.
