Ah, making a tit of oneself - my main qualification in life! I am glad to see that I won't lose that ability

Hmmmm......... I fear that Mrs C would disown me if I start listening to gardening programs on the radio; besides, I get to bug everyone here with my gardening questions :blue thumb:

It has to be Radio Silence here, apart from the Radio, obviously, when Terry Walton's Allotment slot comes on.

I've been missing that too recently - the radio doesn't work in my temporary office! Building work starts week after next on my new office, so fingers crossed I get back to having a radio 2 signal.

Then you get to the point where your diary (like mine) doesn't hold social events but appointments for surgeries, docs, hospitals etc. :heehee:

My mum always used to say when the policemen start looking young then you're getting old........she's not wrong.

What!!! You can still hear? :heehee: When your hearing starts to go you can blame it on the hair in your ears

Another thing to look forward to is that your ears and nose continue to grow bigger. (Fact - http://www.doctoroz.com/blog/arthur-perry-md/noses-and-ears-continue-grow-we-age)

                      Approaching 40? You're just a whippersnapper!

                      On the up side:-
You are getting towards the stage (not there yet) where you can say to people 'When I was a lad!' or 'I remember!' (until you don't remember ).
You can be as grumpy as you like and get away with it.
You can now take lessons in being a dirty old man - or practice without lessons.
There are lots of other things you can do that help you enjoy life - like keeping an innocent look on your face whilst taking the pee out of people.

I'm sure that some of the other oldies on here will give you more advice :old: :heehee:
