    DSC02550.JPG ...Today i found this forlorn little chap under a shrub.....cruely neglected for a good 3 years or so....there still seems to be a bit life in him yet so i've potted him up and have everything crossed .....wish him luck:dbgrtmb:

        Aww, Whisky Mac!! That was the last plant I bought with my mother present (but the very first rose!). Gorgeous scent and a very pretty rose indeed!

        Wishing him lots of love and luck and I can't wait to see him bloom in 2013.

            Knowing Jack is a Scot I thought I'd go off and check the spelling of this rose. It's 'Whisky Mac' without the 'E'........:phew: that was close! :biggrin:

                  Ah, maybe I've mistaken it? Mine was more of an apricot colour (and I do remember it being sold as a Whisky Mac, because my mother and I chuckled about it) :dunno:

                  If i remember rightly Mum when my poor specimen did flower ....once it was fully open it did have an apricot tinge....:dbgrtmb:
