Most expensive cheese- takes 25 litres of milk to make a kilo of cheese. :wow:
It costs £800 a kilo, called Pule. , I'd give it go, (if it was not so expensive.)

Made in Serbia. The milk is used as addition to bath water. Don't know how much that sells for. I'll stick to my Tea tree and Mint shower gel.

My donkey (Pedro) will be 14 end of March,we placed him in the donkey sanctuary in Ireland, with the proviso he was sent to U.K. Must make an effort to go down to Honiton to see him before weather worsens, they have several farms down there as well as the "official" sanctuary for visitors. It`s amazing to look at a field of donkeys just being themselves. The staff are very good with them, they keep him in when we tell them we are coming and there`s always a few others either sick or just too old to go out, then we lead him to the field to join his mates and they always bray at him as if saying ,"You`ve been having treats, not fair " they all have such personalities.

Why did you do what you did pamsdish with Pedro? There is obviously a story there as you said you 'placed him in the donkey sanctury in Ireland, with the proviso he was sent to the U.K.' ... but you live in Wales ...

Hi Victoria ,we lived and worked in Ireland for 10 years, but my work was changing (for the worse) to the point I would leave home at 9.30 am and sometimes in summer not get home until after 10.30 pm ,my husbands health was deteriorating ,he had to sell his small business, and age was just catching up.
We had a small holding and had 3 goats as well,we took the decision to sell up and come back home to U.K my husband was Welsh, I am from the Black Country. when I was offered the chance of early retirement,
We could have sold the donkeys, we had the mother as well, but chose to place them where we could be sure they would be cared for.
So goats to an English Dr and his family where they would be kept for lawn mowing ,ground clearance, like we did.
Donkeys to the sanctuary in Mallow where we could be certain they would not be sold again, they ship donkeys to the U.K. several times a year as there are so many in Ireland being bred for profit.
So they said as soon as possible they would send them over, unfortunately Tia Maria died before this was possible, so Pedro came alone as we could visit him several times a year over here. unfortunately my husband was not well enough to make that trip this year ,so I will have to go alone and take him his apples and carrots ,I always take loads so the staff can dole them out to the special care donkeys.

Oh Pam, what a sad story that you had to leave them all but at least you get to visit and have a cuddle with Pedro. We have several donkey sanctuaries here in Algarve for the maltreated and abandoned. There was also a sanctury on the IoW we used to visit when we lived there. I love donkeys and goats and would have them if I had the land.

Well done on your giving up smoking ... you can use the money to go visit Pedro and buy lots of treats!
