    Morning all,:dancy:

Had a little 20 minute drive out with OH, to a Big Christmas Fayre, at least 40 stall, lots of goodies, all expensive, all right if Mr credit card wanted to come out to play, but he was a bit shy today.:nonofinger:

Weather was very chilly first thing, quite a hard frost, but the late morning was quite warm, so hopefully might go out and tidy up in garden.

Hoping not do much this afternoon, mouth still sore, really miserable with it, be glad when I go to doctors on Monday.

          Aloha everyone,

What strange sky WOO, very good picture of it. Very sad meeting up with your friends at the Cathedral WOO and missing more this year.

Shiney, I wonder how your match went. I hope you did well.

Jaz, I always find that when the weather gets colder you have a tendency to eat more I suppose it is down to making sure you eat the right things.

Waves to Kandy, Loli, Lili, Kaz, Mum et all who frequent the thread. Hope you are all well and looking after yourselves.

          Aloha!:wub2:

          Aloha everyone,

Lovely sky, Woo. :dbgrtmb: I wonder whether I was working on the transport that took your ancestors to Oz! :lunapic 130165696578242 5: Nope! Having thought about it, I transported the £10 Poms. :heehee:

Yesterday went well :blue thumb:. The 75 mile drive to the match was an easy one with no traffic problems. We won the match. Northamptonshire are very hospitable hosts, very friendly and provided a good tea. The journey back was also smooth. All in all, a good day.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do today. Got a lot of paperwork to do but don't feel like it. I've also got 17 emails I must reply to today so I had better get started on them soon as we're taking some old friends out to lunch.

I wish all of you better that are not feeling your best and hope you all have a great day.

          Aloha!

          Hello everyone,

Started off drizzly, decided to colour my hair, thought it was a brunette colour, so I added more red colour, when all done, I ended up nearly black, :heehee: don't know how that happened, but made a nice change. :dbgrtmb:

Had appointment to take OH for assessment for Dementia/Alzheimers, doctor was very pleased, as all tests passed okay.

Me, I had my monthly check up, have now, because of stress, a mouthful of ulcers, swollen tongue, and a condition when I am in bed, a feeling of drowning in my lungs,so I end up with a coughing fit. :help:

I have now reluctantly, decided to give in my notice to work, I am going to provisionally, have a year off work. :noidea:

I think it's what I need to try and get myself back to some sort of order. :imphrt:

Well, the rain has been relentless today, so I won't be doing thing else today.

Hope you all have a good safe evening. God bless xx:wub2:

Lili, I hope you feel better soon. The colour going nearly black is simply because you added more pigment to the brown/brunette. If you had wanted it more red you should either have got the colour you wanted or, if you couldn't get it, get a lighter brown/brunette and add the red. Not that I would recommend doing it! :heehee:

            Good morning everyone,

Lili, glad that your hubbies tests turned out ok and glad that you have decided to take some time out to get yourself well again:smile:

Shiney, what part of Northamptonshire did you play bridge in?Glad that the folks looked after you, they usually are a good bunch of people when we are out that way;) and glad to hear you won the match:blue thumb:

Loli, you are doing very wel with the leaves hanging on because here they are no falling like confetti and it is making the roads slippy as they are getting squashed with the cars on them and then the rain soaks them. Our beech hedge is dropping it's leaves again so we are not going to get a good display again with the copper colours :frown:

Moyra, hope all goes well with the renal screening when the time comes and hope the results are good which will less of a worry for you

Woo,hope the gardening work is going ok,at least you will get the turfing done before the bad weather kicks in:smile:

Waves to anyone else i have missed and hope you are all ok:smile:

            Anyway,Willow is supposed to be going to the vets this morning for an x-ray but the little sod has legged it because i wouldn't give him any breakfast so i expect he has gone to find his own:eeew:His breathing is still the same,although he is eating better and has started purring and cleaning himself again so he might come through this ok,{fingers and toes crossed :snork:}

            Enjoy your day everyone:smile:

            Aloha everyone,

I hope you are all feeling better on this nice sunny morning and I hope that Willow returns in time for his visit to the vet.

Kandy, the match was held in Northampton so, although it was 75 miles, it was an easy journey. It was dual carriageway almost all the way, up the M11 and straight on the A14 to junction 8 and four minutes from there. Just an hour and a quarter.

We're gradually filling our freezer with cooked apple as the crop has been very good. The apples haven't been very large but loads of them. We've given 6 full carrier bags of them to friends and have frozen 40 containers of cooked apples so far. More to go

That contrasts with virtually no pears or plums this year!

I'm still trying to catch up on paperwork and emails but they seem to be coming in faster than I can clear them!

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

            Aloha Everyone,

Shiney well done on winning your match. Thought I had already said that somewhere. Must be cracking up.

I have never coloured my hair and not sure I ever will I have a white 'Mallon' streak at my right temple but otherwise my hair remains as it as ever been dark brown almost black. My dad had jet black hair and only white hairs on his neck when he died so I must take after him. There are some lovely reds around at the moment. I quite like to see it.

Kandy, hope all goes well with the cats and that Willow returns in time for her visit to the vet.

Well have a good day everyone and do look after yourselves.

            Aloha!:wub2:
