    Not a good picture Sal ... looks like it good be a Kalanchoe of some sort?

    Thank you Victoria , but it`s not a kalanchoe , look like an astelia but its not , never seen one before.
    il look like a sea anemone , very pretty .

    Sal, could it be a cristate form of some kind of cylindropuntia.

      Not a single idea as to a name, however, I did pick up a small piece of a similar cacti from beside a road on a Greek Island. I think it had been knocked of a gurt big cacti growing nearby, It is about 14" tall now it has vicious spines and hasn't flowered yet. Thanks for showing me what I may expect.

        No Pete , it`s not an opuntia , I`ve never seen anything similar , look at the flower...

        the picture is from the person who gave me the plant .....the one I got is smaller and no flower ....with flower it`s easy to ID.

        The flower of the Euphorbia medusa looks like that in your friend's blurry picture, and the central rosette does look similar.
