I won't object if it remains foggy for much of the day, shiney; it will make Ozzy's trip to the woods more atmospheric :)

Thick "pea souper" of a fog this morning, just clearing away now at 2.20pm to leave well broken cloud and some hazy sunshine, quite nice really, not as mild as yesterday though at 9.1 degrees..

The mist hung around all day and not as mild as yesterday - but mild enough to mow and clear leaves. I wasn't too happy with the trees constantly dripping on me.

To my surprise there was no real fog or mist this morning although the sky was a smooth light grey that persisted until around 11.am. Then the sky cleared to a lovely blue and the Sun came out in strength:yes: It hasn't been brilliantly warm today although having the Sun out made it feel warmer than it was. It's going dark now and the outside temperature is 47f.:coffee:

Rain, rain and more rain .. and we are loving it, about 20c day temps. It was a long dry winter last year and a very long dry summer this year .. the earth is in seventh heaven!

It was sunny this morning, but now smooth grey cloud is creeping over the sky from the West and the temperature is 45f. Rain on the way, but not before I plant some Tulips [and some Daffs that I forgot I had!!]:coffee:

Been grey, misty and damp all day. Will be battening down pronto this evening. And the barometer's falling so it'll all end in tears I expect,

Pretty much the same here today, chilly too. Not looking forward to working outdoors all day tomorrow, but at least our central heating is now working.

:hate-shocked: Wet and wild here as a tornado came off the sea and first hit Carvoeiro where our two apartments are and then went through Lagoa to Silves, where our caravan is. Think the apartments will have escaped damage (one by 1km) and also the van as we are on a hillside and its path was 1.5kms east of us as it hit illegally parked motorhomes (there must be a hundred of them) by the river and went off into the mountains.

          We shall go investigate tomorrow.
