Who likes or not the lovely taste of watercress?
No polls or ratings as to what or not is liked or disliked, just a curiosity on my part.
It was something I had as a child and have now gone back to it with vengeance.
Let me know if there is anything else that has blasted out from your past into the present with regard to your taste buds.

Watercress was considered a bit "fancy/posh" in our house as a nipper. We were reared on mustard and cress in the sald cream and egg sandwiches. I like watercress more now that I'm fully grown ...:roflol::lunapic 130165696578242 5:,

        Watercress is ok.

Lemon meringue pie .... :eeew: :eeew: :eeew: Couldn't eat it as a child and still haven't the taste buds for it.

        Oh, and cider :eeew:

Other than that I'm very easily pleased :)

watercress is a herb I got to know for the first time about only a couple of years ago. It is beneficial to health, but the taste reminds me of polystyrene. (No, I do not eat usually polystyrene...:snork: )

I don't think I've ever tried it, but some say its similar to nasturtium. Is that so?

I agree with Liliana Watercress soup - I also like it in a Mushroom Frittata.
