    Well, not a perfect night by any stretch, but at least I got some kip so that's something - those self heating pad things are quite good actually and give a consistent heat for whole night.

    Got to work this morning to be told that one of the girls from head office had been taken into hospital overnight having had a stroke; poor soul is only a handful of years older than me. Puts a sore back into perspective.

      Absolutely! I can't wait for the spring to get cracking in the garden again (I don't really like this time of year any more - Christmas is slowly being ruined by retailers and greed, and has lost much of its 'feel' if you know what I mean;

              Poor lass; I do hope she makes a fully recovery.

              Ah, but the Winter months are the gardeners *best* friend: that is the time to plan, plot, graph, dream and seek inspiration! Spring and Summer are the times to action those plans on the plot, graft, weed, dig, mow, sow and seek .... a back rub ;)

                Aye, she's a kindly soul too - lots of people in our place praying for her to make a full recovery.

                I've been making loads of plans Mum - but I still can't help but have the itch to get out there and see the weather warming up :)
