That's a shame folly man. Claim on insurance or greenhouse supplier to say it was not strong enough or put it down to " that's life"?

I hate it when that happens :( At least you have the enjoyment of a new build project!

              Hi Nick

Just glad you where not inside, keep away until all the winds have died down just in case the glass gets blown out.

That is not good!! :nonofinger: So sorry about your greenhouse, FM :( Hopefully you'll be able to salvage something to use on your brick base?

That is great news on your bed though :dbgrtmb: My mother suffered dreadful back problems (at one point she was told she would never walk again without a steel corset) and was advised to put an old door under her mattress to sleep on; so, hard as Tyson's Head does seem to be the way forward. Wishing you sweet dreams tonight, FM.

Mr Mum and I were speculating last night about these winds; wondered if it is a kickback from Sandy (particularly as it was a Westerly wind yesterday) :dunno:

That's dreadful folly Mon :( I have been worrying about that being a problem with my own as it is quite windy here.

Sorry to hear of your GH Folly Mon,
Good things come of it though, My GH was cheap cheerful and a blow away, which I was stuck with
Then the wind came and my blow away was no more, hence my nice new green 8x10 one, which touch wood has survived so far

Take care with the containers though, I am sure they will suspend (no pun intended) them being lifted in this weather
