    Aloha everyone,

I took Mrs Shiney to the station early this morning and had trouble getting the ice off the car. She's on a course all day and evening!

I've been doing shopping and housework and shall continue with my paperwork this afternoon. Match last night went well. :)

It has now started to rain so I'm pleased we got some work done in the garden yesterday.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

    Aloha everyone,

We didn't get too much rain but the wind is causing problems here. I guess there is a tree down somewhere along the road as there is no traffic at all. I don't know how much damage there is around the garden but the big bird feeder is lying on the paving. I hope it's not damaged too much as it is very expensive.

It's sunny but very windy. I might go and do a few things in the garden.

I hope you are all OK and not flooded or too windy. :heehee:

Keep well and have a good day

    Aloha!

    Aloha everyone,

Well it is a beautiful day out there now, shame about the wind though. I didn't realize how cold the wind was until I walk Amber. Steve told me to keep away from the trees because of that lady who was killed in the west country by a falling tree. So where do you think Amber dropped me a present to clean up, right under the trees!

I hope Fred, Poppy and Willow are feeling better today and Amber sends her love and kisses to Theo and Archie.

I have ordered lots of lard and suet an am going to mix up some of Steve's fishing sunflower hearts to make some coconut halves. I have plenty of seed so we shall see how we get on.

Have a good day all and do take care of yourselves.

    Aloha!:wub2:

I used to make fat balls for the birds by using the fat from mince etc when I made things like bolognese, cottage pie and chilli. Having cooked the meat I used to skim off the fat. Less fat for me and more for the birds.

Oh dear I typed a whole load then one of my security programmes started and wiped the lot out! :oopss: I have been busy with Steve making lots and lots of half coconut seed and fat packs for the birds. Steve did all the stirring he was brilliant with his help. Must buy some more lard to make some more too to see us through the bad weather that is on the way. Have fun everyone. Happy evening, goodnight, God Bless. xxxxx:doggieshmooze::cat-kittyandsmiley:

              Good morning all :)

Enjoy your big meeting, shiney, hope your kettle doesn't blow up from over use! :coffee:

moyra, very productive of you! :dbgrtmb: I think Joolz was asking in another thread about a good recipe for fat balls, perhaps you could share yours? http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/how-fast-can-a-fat-ball-disappear.48360/#post-618932

woo - get well wishes speeding their way to your household from mine

              Soggy, soggy, soggy here.
Ducks are happy because their part of the garden is now a mini lake.
Have to take Ozzy to the vets for his post-snip check-up at some point today.
Lost another chook, pekin bantam, Dotty. Ho hum :(

Wishing you all a stress-free day

                Aloha everyone,

Mum, I will let Joolz know our recipe but don't think it will help her as it contains most of Steve's food he buys for fish bait.

I wrote out a whole script and when I posted reply the site kicked me off and signed me out for some reason. Maybe because I left it to go and do something in between posting and pressing post reply. Who knows we shall try again.

WOO hope you are much better know and Shiney spare a cup for me no sugar thank you!

Have a good day everyone and take care of yourselves. God bless.

                Aloha!:wub2:

That must be so frustrating for you moyra :(

                  Couple of tips for you:
~ don't wander off between posting and hitting "reply"
~ if you need to wander off and still have something you want add, right click your mouse on your reply, choose "select all", then right click again, choose "copy". If you should get booted out, sign back in, hit reply, right click your mouse and choose "paste" - voila! - all you typed should be back again :)
~ if you are writing a long reply, you could try writing it first in a word document; then copy and paste it into the reply box.
