Winter sore throat remedy

In a jar, combine lemon slices, organic honey and sliced ginger. Close jar and put it in the fridge, it will form into a "jelly". To serve: Spoon jelly into mug and pour boiling water over it. Store in fridge 2-3 months.

 

When's Honey not organic then? Is it when the bees have broken into the M&M factory?

 

Alternatively use glycerine http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/care-glycerin-200ml-10072 added to you homebrew (1 teaspoon/gallon), which not only turns one month old stuff into something really drinkable, but also sooths you sore throat.

I'm mean. I give my kids a drop of Myrrh Oil and 2 drops of Lavender Oil on a sugar cube, twice a day.

It works! It stops them moaning to me about their ailments, anyway.........
