Good afternoon Zigs thank you my friend,I went over to Rochester to see our local Dickens Christmas Festival but there were 1000's of people and nowhere to park so I had to return home,I took these from the car in the traffic jam:)

Aww thats a shame Woo, we didn't get to go to the local Victorian evening because of the floods either.

I've just spoke to a mate in Ilminster, the floods have gone from the middle of the town now, tesco's petrol station was underwater, so i'm off there this afternoon.

A certain GC member has bought a barn for conversion just past there, he wants me to throw an eye over the place. If all goes well he'll be starting his own Nursery there, got 3 acres of land with it:dbgrtmb:

            Nice pix, woo :dbgrtmb:

My best friend and her husband (sometimes her dgs too!) dress up for the Dickens Festival. She's not partaking this year (think there is something on at Portsmouth that she's gone to instead?)

About 5-6 years ago another friend of mine (sadly deceased now) and her husband would also dress up for the Dickens festival and took me with them. Her husband wore a fabulous Indian Raj style outfit :)

Pity you couldn't park, but, fantastic for the town to have an influx of visitors.

We went over to the Festival today as well William, we ended up going into Rochester Castle (which I had never done), had a look through the Museum and took in the atmosphere of the Festival.
