    So ... if easy to propagate can only be rare because people don't like / don't grow it.

    Thus people coming to your garden will go Wow (or Yuck) but either way they will not have seen it before.

    Its a bit like Art. My kids complain when they see art they don't like, and I reply "Ah, but here we are talking about it, it must be art"

    So if you want it then buy it (maybe hold out for a cheaper one for a bit ?)

    And then propagate it and sell it for £7.99 each :heehee:

      With something as easy and as common as a tradescantia I'd wait to see one in a sale or buy one in the summer when there may be more about and more competition. Even for a special, rarer variety £8 seems like a lot to pay for one measly cutting. And you'll have to care for it through the winter if you buy now.

      Great idea to start selling your own, though!
