    :biggrin: Good morning everyone,

    Cats trip to the vets went off ok and they have both put on more weight so we are all plesed with them,although the vet said that it will be best if Poppy is on tablets for life as opposed to her having the radiation treatment due to the slight decline in kidney function and Willow is not going to get better without steroids.The vet said with luck we should have at least another 3/4 years before they succumb to their ailments:eeew:

    We had some rain when we went off to bed and it is quiet mild out but have fog and frost forecast for tomorrow before it turns back to rain again:whistle:

    Hope everyone else is ok and looking forward to next week and all the hard work us ladies will be doing on the 25th....

      Kandy, glad willow and poppy are doing ok. Glad I sorted my freezers out and found some room for the food to be delivered tomorrow and thursday.

      Its cool here, and raining a little bit.

      The snow we had, has melted but they did manage to get some of the ski resorts open here.

      I'm home this morning, and then have a bunch of errands to do for Brad.

          I hope all of you and your pets are feeling better and wish you well. :wub2:

          I'm back online with an internet that's working properly. :dbgrtmb:

          We've been travelling in some out of the way places and not able to catch up with things but we're on our way home now. We're in Singapore airport with another 24 hours of travelling to get home as we've been travelling up through Indonesia. Mrs Shiney is fast asleep as we've been travelling for nearly a day already.

          Three days ago we were over 4,000 ft up in the mountains of Java, in the rain forest, looking at some 1,200 year old ruined temples. The last part of that trek was supposed to be on horseback (never ridden one before) but we decided to walk it as it was quite slippery. The paths were rocky and wet!

          We spent quite a bit of time in India and then on to Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. As some of you know, we have friends all over the world so we took the opportunity to see some of them whilst on our travels. There was even a party organised when we arrived in Singapore! That was some time ago as we're only in Singapore now to catch our flight to Heathrow. I'll be pleased to get home and have a rest. :)

          We're still managing to do our doddering to out of the way places but it's getting harder each year! :old: We were doing quite well ticking off the places listed in the book "1,000 places to see before you die" but they've just brought out a new edition!

          I've already made a decision that I'll stop at 999 places :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

            Shiney, there can not be many places you haven't visited now. No wonder you were saying your internet connection wasn't very good it depended on where you were at the time. L:onging to hear some of the tales of the sites etc you have seen.

            Very wet out there this morning. Amber and I got drowned. I think I am going to have to change my trousers as all the bottoms of them are soaking.

            Shiney, your wanderings sound wonderful!! Can't wait to hear more about them (and see the pix?) Hope you've had a good flight home.

            Moyra, it's soggy here too. Wellington boots are the only fashion here these days.

            Still waiting for the Seed Swap post (I'm hoping it will be today). I've been spending some time looking through my gardening books and trying to decide how I want the garden to look over the next few years; but, there are so many things to take into consideration it's mind blowing!

            Hope we're all on form this morning:dbgrtmb:It's awfull out there,very wet and windy and again the garden is under water:frown:it wouldn't be so bad but with the dogs the lawn is turning in to a swamp......going to have to turn the pump on to get rid of some of it....ready for the next lot:gaah:........

              Trying to get better for Christmas, it's a case of one step forwards and two back, toes slowly recovering, but pulled my shoulder yesterday!!:eeew:
