Hello Everyone! I'm checking in from New Orleans. Trying my hand at garlic and a few other edibles in containers this year and hoping to gradually expand. Looking forward to finding out what everyone's up to in the garden.

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Chanell ! You should find lots of information in the edible section on garlic growing in containers . They are very friendly and helpful bunch on this forum :dbgrtmb: Your weather will be a lot better for veg growing in the Big Easy than the wet summer we have experienced.

Thanks everyone! It gets pretty wet here in summer as well, HarryS. One of my big concerns will be what happens with all my plants during hurricane season. It would be a drag to do all that work and lose it to storm damage.

Sal, I'll have to get back to you on the temperatures. It gets ridiculously hot in summer, but usually isn't too cold in winter.

I once heard that you have to be sane to be able to question your sanity and consider the possibility that you might be insane, and conversely you have to be insane to be sure you're sane. So if you say you are sane, then you must be insane, unless of course you really are sane, which would be so unusual it might be considered a form of insanity.

          Welcome to GC, Chanell :dbgrtmb:

Don't worry about who's sane or insane on here, it'll drive you crazy!

Anyway: Insanity is hereditary; you get it from your children!

Don't let the others know but I'm the only one sane on here! ;)

          Happy Christmas!
