No, I watched the first about 5 minutes, then fast forwarded bits. I'll have another try but skipping to the end in case there's a punchline.
There isn't a punchline as such clueless, its just a great big model airport that 'works' to the point where the planes actually take off and fly away (albeit through a hatch in the wall so that they are probably sent round a system of belts or whatever behind the scenes to fly back in and land sometime later. It even goes through a period of dusk and night. There has been a hell of a lot of thought and work put into it.
Not sad, FC! Hornby and Scalextric have made fortunes on the back of great modelling (I was a whizz with a Scalextric ... my brothers hated me for it )
There's nowt wrong with liking it. I was impressed. I just read too much into it (as usual) and rather than simply enjoying it for what it was, I was watching every little detail looking for something that wasn't there.
