:heehee: The assumption being; if you live in a big house, you will have the wherewithall to read the small print ;)

Go for it Zigster! Big box, little box makes little difference in matters of mis-selling; principle is principle!

Got mis sold 2 endowment policies in the 1980's, they promised it would pay off the mortgage and give us a nest egg.

Got nothing back at all, paid thousands out for nothing.

the template is the second link. It's a long process but its worth a punt to see if you can get your monies back.

Anyone who thinks they have a claim, download the template, print it off, fill it in and send it off. :blue thumb:

Like others who were conned by a PPI, we were very careful thereafter to make sure that we were not paying it. Whenever the Bank included it with a purchase they were told to remove it and we paid a lesser amount. The trouble for a lot of folks was that they did not opt out. We always did. And more often than not we paid cash too.

Feel free to copy what I wrote, I also added sort codes, account numbers & names.

Which was difficult for my old business account because I don't keep stuff past 7 years.

Fortunately I used to use telephone banking, and after a couple of days of thinking about it I managed to retrieve the file in my head that still had the account number stuck in it. Blimey there was some other rubbish in there too, even found the registration number for my Dad's 1973 Morris Marina:doh:
