    Middlebere channel this morning, a brilliant sunny day and hundreds of Avocets were feeding in the sun.

      very nice , my white egrets (5) are back on the river arrived about two weeks ago

        Those two pics show barely a tenth of the whole flock.

        It's strange Spruce, 25 years ago the Little Egret was a rarity in the UK and would start a twitch, now you are more likely to see one than a Grey Heron!:smile:
