The one that I really want (Mona Lisa) is a cultivar that is licensed to the Ball Group sadly.
Thanks for the link though - I had forgot about them!

Thus a thought: ... a couple, or more, of us club together to buy several, own one each and then swap. Rather than buying one each, and each paying (presumably) lots of postage one person could get them - perhaps just prior to some sort of Meet next spring? or that person is responsible for doing the cuttings (Meet may have to be a little later in the year!)

Kristen, I have often thought that rather than each person buying or growing all sorts of different plants themselves, we could specialise in a few and pass them round. If we all lived in the same town I think this would work very well. But the interesting phase is when plants get big, and it then that passing them round gets difficult.

I have binned so many surplus plants that I see being offered at prices from £10 to £20 or more. But what can you do?

LongK - nice link. I don't think I know that one - thanks.

Merleworld, just like me. Got so many plants in pots that I had to have but do t know where to put them. Is that "gardeners disease"?

Had to pop to Homebase for a couple of trays to sit my over-wintering babies on in the porch, to protect the windowsills, and ended up round at the seeds...... well, it was inevitable really. Still, I was quite well behaved, and only bought four packs - African Marigold (crackerjack mix), French marigold (honeycomb), Sunflower (sunburst mixed), and Nemophilia five spot (just because they looked pretty on the packet)

Anyone tell me anything about Nemophilia please (here's hoping that its nothing to do with inappropriate behaviour towards fish )?

As Wyevale were selling all shrubs (bar Conifers and Fruit) 50% off, I picked up a couple.
Phyllostachys Aurea about 3ft high for a tenner.
