      Yep loli, been out for a couple of days. Think there "Feb Gold". Still early by at least 3 weeks.

              Flower for 2013:
              Dahlia - This year i will give up planting tubors out as they rot off. Will start them in pots then plant them out. I love Cactus dahlia's.

                  I was rotating my soil the other day (not sure if you're meant to during winter?) anyway, one of my Dahlia tubers were hollow.. like something had ate it.

                      Cut off the Helebore leaf's today, the ones with obvious flowers of course. Will leave the others until the flowers show. Ive never done this before and left them but i want to see flowers this year rather than leaf's and sick of the black spot.

                      Will see what happens.

                        My Box seems to be VERY slow growing. I know they in general but this summer will be year 2 and im hoping so growth. You would have though the rain we had last year would give them a boost but at this rate im looking at 10 years before i get a decent low hedge.
