          Do we? He was a good member, full of knowledge which I certainly appreciated ... but perhaps a bit bolshie at times ... how many of us have not fallen into that category?

                      It's a funny thing but I went into Morrisons, Tesco's and Aldi today and couldn't find any Beefburgers for sale...........I guess they must have all sold out:dunno: :heehee:

                      Although I still work fulltime, I made the decision to draw my state pension at 60 in case the goalposts were moved. I could have deferred it but decided it was better in my account than the government's account. What REALLY gripes me is the fact that although I made full NI contributions of my own for over 40 years, the resultant state pension is counted as unearned income for tax purposes and my personal tax allowance is more than eaten up by the pension with the result that I have a minus tax code! I'm certainly no high flying wage earner just on a lowly Somerset salary!!
