Jack, I think perhaps she didn't read the preceding info of Marley's properly. I've got pics to go on, but for the life of me can't think of any song titles that will match them.

I've got one now Marley for a shot that was proving difficult. I'm just waiting for my pics to come back from my son who's reducing the size for me. Like a fool I 'upped' the size on my camera and now they're huge!

            Sheal, get "Picasa" from google
Once on your comp, you can do what you like with your pix (sharpen, change colours, resize, crop, make different picture types water colour, oil paint, auto colour/contrast, straighten up etc etc)
To resize them for here, just open the pic you want, click export to desktop and set size as 800 pixels

Even "I" can do it AND it does not change your original that is left intact

This is a really easy & quick editing suite Sheal & Jack.. It is free & you don't have to use up space on your hard drive either.. Same software PB uses.. http://pixlr.com/editor/

Thanks Jack and Marley. I'm currently waiting for a reply from my son about software that I have and haven't made use of. I want something basic as I don't intend to alter my pictures, I prefer them 'au naturale'. :)

I'm not sure, but I think that if you use the 'Upload a File' link at the bottom of your post, it resizes it automatically. Give it a try :blue thumb:

Thanks Shiney, :) I use that regularly but it will only down size up to a certain overall size, beyond that it rejects the pictures as being to large to deal with. For the time being I've used Jacks idea which is okay but a bit long winded.

It is better to resize pics yourself Sheal & it is very very easy, especially with the link I gave you..
Open the image from your computer in the software... (Self explanatory)
                  Click on "image"..( Drop down)
clicl 1st one - Image size..
Put your curser in the highest photosize box clear the numbers & put in 800 or whatever size you want.. That just resizes the photo automatically to your request & click save.... Job done..

Cropping first is just as easy... ;) :blue thumb:

Scrungee, that's an interesting construction in your 'Gimme Shelter' photo.
Is it actually built around the trunk of that tree?
