Just made Banana flapjacks and

    A fruit loaf to fill the cake tins again.

    As its such an icy cold day stayed indoors after my freezing cold walk to back.

    Good combo for flapjacks are (leftover roasted) sweet potatoe and a banana top it all with pecan sauce serve.
    A good way to use up the left over sweet potatoe you purposely roasted 4 nights ago for the flapjacks.

      Ginger cake in the oven here :), always a good pass time for a snowy day, baking, cake tins never stay full long here due to a very hungry daughters boyfriend, might have to start charging him lodge :ideaIPB: , lol, banana cake yesterday he's eaten half that this morning :hate-shocked:

      Flapjacks contain oats: oats are good for lowering cholesterol :whistle:

        Agree there Mum, but Pecan syrup/sauce is high on that count. Not allowed to have it now.:cry3:

        Fair point; but, the syrup can be altered/reduced and still taste yummy - it's all about acclimatising your palate to accept less "sugar" :) It can be done, my friend; it can be done!

        Well, mum, do not use syrup, what about stewed fresh apples. would taste good on it.
