Morning all - just been and cleared the snow off the roof of the greenhouse - thanks to the tip from Lolimac. Lunchtime we are expecting the next downfall - today is certainly an indoor day. Think this afternoon it's going to be a soup making session.
Hope all our members are keeping warm and safe from the worst of the weather.

WOO, it has been the same here and still coming down.

Over the last couple of days our assortment of birds have increased due to the variety of food I have put down for them. Normally it is Starlings, sparrows, robins, blue tits, collared doves with the occasional Jay and Magpie but yesterday we had a visit from a goldcrest and today we have had wren, pied wagtail, and blackbird. We don't have many blackbirds round here because of the number of cats in the neighbourhood but it is always nice to see them. Could be the fried bread I put out on the ground that has attracted them today.

I have just looked out there and knocked all the snow off the top of the gazebo and it has finally stopped coming down. At last. I am hoping there will not be any more tonight. Weatherman was saying it could go down to -10c tonight. That is going to call for a second duvet to be got out of the wardrobe methinks!

Keep warm folks and stay safe whatever you do.

          Aloha everyone,

Thick snow everywhere. It supposed to stay sub zero all day but we may get some sun this morning.

Loli, you be very careful :blue thumb:. They've forecast that the snow will be back up your way today as well. Make sure you're wrapped up properly. Don't do any lifting :nonofinger:

Keep well everyone and be careful out there

          Aloha!

            Good morning Loli,Shiney and everyone:smile:

Sorry to hear your hubby has had tooth problems and hope he is starting to feel better now:smile:

Shiney, sounds like you have had it rough with your chest infection especially as you have lost the weight so hopefully you are starting to feel better in yourself as well:wub2: Your car trip sounds as bad as the one Mr Kandy had Friday treying to get home from work and it took him 1 1/2 hours to do a trip that should have taken him 30 minutes to do,but at least he got home safe and sound:yay:

Loli, hope your working day goes off ok after your recuperation so just take things slowly until your ribs have healed properly:smile:

Moyra, how nice to have a fox in the garden and it will be nice if you get to see the cubs when they are old enough to come out of the den:smile:

Waves to everyone else and hope you are all ok and coping with the snowy conditions in your part of the world:smile:

We have had quiet a bit of snow here which i just love although it is not very good in some parts due to the ice underneath the snow:eeew: We have had loads of Fieldfares in our garden trees but only one will come down to feed on the apples i have put out. Also had a male Reed Bunting feeding yesterday and i have just frightened off what i think was a female Goldcrest that was feeding in the bush outside of the lounge window so no photo:frown: Oh and we have manged to walk about seven miles in the snow over the weekend so we are quiet pleased with that:yay:

Hope you all have a good day and please keep warm:smile:

              Aloha everyone,

Kandy, I always thought the wren was our smallest bird until I read up about the goldcrest and saw the one in our garden. The goldcrest is truly the smallest bird in this country. It's nice to know the wrens and goldcrests are about.

Shiney how are you feeling on this very cold morning. Hope you are finally on the mend.

Waves to Loli, WOO et al. Do all stay safe, well and warm.

              Aloha!:wub2:

                  Morning everyone,

Its freezing cold here, all week is supposed to be brutally cold.

We had a busy weekend, and spent part of Saturday test driving our new truck, which we get this week.

I'm home today (ya right) and have some things i need to do, as well as some shovelling. Brad will need to snowblow again when he gets home.

Off to get some more coffee, so have a great day all.

                    Hiya one and all,

We have had a sunny day, and quite a lot of snow has melted, hopefully it will not freeze tonight.

Been out shopping today, and had to go to doc's this p.m. happy with my recovery, though I have a problem with my tongue being sore all the time, so now have drops to take 4 times a day. Peter slowly getting better.

Had a lovely free calender from the Canadian Tourist Board, smashing piccies.

Stocked up with my caramel, and chocolate rice cakes, I can't enough.

Getting dark now, coffee and Digestive's time.

Keep warm and safe one and all.:blue thumb:

Thanks Moyra, it was only a touch of morning sickness! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Actually it was the problem of of coughing up loads of stuff after having been sitting still (my equivalent of most people sleeping) for four hours. I'm definitely lots better now but not quite so good at night and in the early morning.

I'm off to a bridge match in a couple of hours. That should take my mind of things :)
