i always thought the castle garden is like a facelift to its sinister history; a screen over its dark past. The floral are simply amazing and beautiful, but they look somewhat an exchange with the ignoble past as being a Prisoner of War Camp.

Thank You Aesculus, and yea indeed i just chanced upon the Gardeners corner while researching about Sissinghurst Castle Garden. I just made a trip some 2-3 weeks ago, though it was actually closed, but for work purposes, i was simply amazed by how beautiful it was even during its autumn-winter disintegration. I wish i could be to see the snow too.

Would somebody be able to share some qualities of the Sissinghurst Castle Garden that could be learnt and be applied into some personal gardens?
