    Aloha everyone,

Oh do be careful Loli with your ribs don't go doing anything to put you back.

Shiney my son Steve is having similar problems to you with his chest and I have being buying all sorts of things for him to try to get him better and the last thing I have bought him is Lemsip Moucus Capsules. He said yesterday that they were good so they might be worth you trying.

Waves to WOO, Kandy, Penny and Lili et al. Hope you are all keeping well and safe and do have a lovely safe and warm day.

    Aloha!:wub2:

    Morning everyone.

Its another cold and frigid day here, supposed to warm up a little for the weekend, they said that right now with the windchill its -42 here!! Diesel loves the snow and Brad took him out for his walk while i had my shower, and they made it a block, Diesel wanted to come back home.

I'm off to Toronto in a bit, need to go right downtown, that'll be fun driving with them, they panick when there's snow.

Natalie takes Diesel shortly for his operation, poor guys getting neutered.

I think tomorrow Brad and I are going to go down and get Kait and bring her home for the weekend, and Saturday our new truck is supposed to be ready for pickup....cant wait!!

Anyhow....off to brush my teeth and head out, so have a great day all.

      Good morning Woo everyone:smile:

Hopethose of you are all feeling under the weather at the moment are starting to feel a bit better as each day goes by:smile:

Have been busy this week and in between my jobs have been taking some of our apples, that have bitter bit and bits of rot in them up to the duck pond as there is a Fieldfare that is suffering now that the berry crop in the hedges have all been eaten so armed with the apples, some mixed fruit from the shops and bird seed I have been helping him/her out.:snork: We still have a single one feeding in the back garden along with a single Starling as they have both cottoned on that there is no point flying too far and wasting valuable energy so they are staying put:biggrin: We still have the usual birds in the garden but hey tend to feed and do the rounds so to speak:yes:

We have 70% snow forecast for later today so we shall see but I do wish the weahter people would stop talking in a foreign language with their forecasts as i hate the metric terms for the level of snow.Lets get back to good old feet and inches:yes:

Have a good day everyone and do please keep warm:smile:

      Aloha everyone,

Penny, that sounds rather cold :heehee:. We don't know whether you're talking fahrenheit or centigrade but it doesn't really matter as -45 in either is almost exactly the same. Actually, -40 is the same temperature in both.

Here, it's -6C at the moment. Snow also forecast for late tonight.

Moyra, thanks for the info. I seem a bit better this morning :)

Since the snow has been on the ground we've had an interesting situation. Every morning we find a pile of snail shells on our, covered, front step. Obviously there is some bird that can't find a hard surface to break them on because of the snow. Quite enterprising of him/her :dbgrtmb:

I've got my regular visit to the chiropractor this morning. He's got a new clinic so I hope it's nice and warm.

Be careful out there and have a great day

      Aloha!

      Good morning everyone,
Hope everyone is tickety boo and on the mend:dbgrtmb: Really pleased you feel better this morning Shiney:thumbsup:
I've a slight headache this morning but i put that down to overdosing on coffee and walnut cake before i went to bed:doh: ....i don't normally drink coffee for that reason.....
It has started to dry up nicely out there but waiting for the next deluge of snow, said to be with us by this afternoon......
Facinating about the snail shells.....our creatures are so clever:love30:

Have a great day everyone, keep cozy and take care:SUNsmile:

      Aloha everyone,

Thanks for the lovely crocus WOO will be lovely when we can see them for real again. Still won't be long now.

Shiney glad you are feeling better during the day we must sort out your mornings and nights. Those Lemsip Mucous tablets would be worth a try.

Loli you take care too don't go over doing things if you have the weekend free, not sure that you have.

Kandy, haven't seen any fieldfare for a long time we used to get a lot here at one time. The goldcrest must have set up home somewhere near because he keeps coming back for more food. I have some old dripping in the fridge and I have been frying bread and crust up in it for the birds they absolutely love it. Mind you the starlings love the half coconuts of fat and seed too.

Well take care everyone and stay safe and warm and well if you can too! Have a good day.

      Aloha!:wub2:

        Good morning everyone.

Its still cold here, although not as cold as it has been....thank god!!

I have a few errands to do today, and then Brad and i are driving down to get Kait and bring her home for the weekend, so that'll take care of 6 hours today.

Our new truck is supposed to be ready today too, so hopefully we'll be back in time to get it, if not then tomorrow.

Natalie brought Diesel home lastnight, you'd never know he had asnything done, but no walks for a few days.

Off to get some more coffee....so have a great day all.

Evening All, Gosh it has turned bitter out there the wind could cut you in half. Hopefully it is too cold to snow but someone said the other day that it can snow at any temperature below freezing. I think I shall have an early night tonight as my bed is probably the only place to get warm. Our night storage heaters are useless.

Loli, you take care if you are working over the weekend then no overdoing things.

Oh Penny poor Deisel he will have to take it quietly for a few days. Have a good evening all.

          Evening All,;)
Thought I would let you all know that I am in the land of the living !:snooze:

Hope everyone is recovering from their aches and pains.:wub2:

Peter and I are not too bad, Peter still has earache, but will not let book him a visit to the doctors, men !!:pathd:

We both went to the nurse today, for our blood tests, Peter was done in 2 minutes, me, well, it takes on average, 10-15 minutes, they tell me that I have veins like babies. On my last visit, it took 4 nurses to get my blood, I looked a right mess, with plasters and cotton wool everywhere.:oopss:

Bought some more knitting needles, double ended and curly ones, for making socks, and also a pair of cable needles. Peter despairs

Well take it all easy, watch out for the snow if you are due it. :dbgrtmb:

Evening everyone. Have had a busy day, weekly shop then dashed to youngest sons to let Princess and Dinky out for the second day running. I love them to bits. Yesterday Princess sniffed in my bag (she knows I have treats for them) found a pot scourer and ran off with it and had great fun :snork: Next job was straight to other sons to work there for two hours.
