Has any one tried Suttons vegetable garden planner? It looks quite good.

I think most people use Kristens G.C. member if its in regard to crop rotation,he`s very scientific

The Suttons one was written by GrowVeg.com. Allows "laying out" the plot, plant by plant ... I'm more interested in keeping records based on:

    Sow date
    Germination date
    Transplant date
    First harvest date
    Last harvest date

so that I can work out, in following years, exactly when to sow (and how many :) ) to get the crop when I want it. Now, after a few years of fiddling with spreadsheets, I have a sowing & growing plan that doesn't change much, if at all, from one year to the next.

In addition to the dates above I record the varieties that I grew, how many plants and what they family have to say about flavour etc.

Some people use a piece of chalk and the back of their allotment shed's door !! whereas I use a spreadsheet :)

That's impressive. I'm just starting out so the laying out of the plot was what interested me. I keep a diary of what and when I planted stuff, when I potted on and planted out, what kind of harvest I had and what I'm going to do differently next year.
Cucumbers are on their third strike. If I don't get a decent crop next year I'm not bothering, same goes for peppers.

I knocked these planners a couple of years ago for anyone who may be interested.

They are not very scientific but they are based on dates from my diaries over the last 25 years!

Now that my memory is shall we say "fading" a bit, I use them more often than I once did ;)

Inside the shed? :D or on the spreadsheet? (I print that out so if the printed copy gets ruined I can print another of course ...)

why don`t you just put it on paper, in a plastic cover, then you can keep them for record. You can still pin it up then.

I shuffle mine around each year for crop rotation, and any changes I make to varieties etc.

Here's a picture of one from a previous season:
