January appears to be a month of illness in our house. Both my parents and I have had chest infections and I have just had 36 hours of sickness and runs. Temp of 102 and felt worst I ever have done.

The last two winters have been chest infections and pneumonia.

Hope you all have escaped the germs going around.

Had pharyngitis a few weeks ago. First time for years they've given me any antibiotics, must've been bad.

Sorry to hear you've been suffering from the "plague", Julie, it's horrible when you are ill and have a fever and other symptoms. I haven't, [touches wood by scratching head], had a cold or the like for several years. I put that down to having caught, when a kid, nearly every disease a kid could by playing in the muck of the street I was brought up in!:heehee: Plus, during service in the RAF having caught a few strange infections abroad probably contributed to my immunity level:snork::hate-shocked: .

Still ate no chocolate or feel like eating any but the roast beef is cooking nicely and I feel like that. Managed to walk my dog today so hopefully on the mend.
