We were speaking to friends today and we all have friends arriving here in the next couple of weeks (half term) and are doing cheap flights ... so we played this for them ...

... and one of my all-time favourites ...

Victoria , Fascinating Aida are very very close to the actual truth
If you fly Ryanair just look how the ....FROM £29.99 flight cost stacks up !! They do the job, are efficient , low cost but they actually make you feel like cheapskates !
We fly a little more upmarket now with Easyjet Champagne ( Cava ) Class :snork:

I was researching some flights recently with Ryanair and instead of the usual CAPCHA nightmare to enter to check the prices, this time they had a puzzle to solve!!!

I have tried some different ones, at least ten, and I was not able to solve any and therefore I couldnt even consult the prices of the flights, not to mention to book with them!

I hope it is just a temporary experiment....

I tried to book a flight from Exeter to another part of the UK over Christmas, the cheapest seat was £1,370. It stopped twice & would take 7 hours:thud:

I could drive it in 5, for £60 worth of petrol.

I wouldn't fly Ryanair because Stansted is a pig of a place to get to. If you book a train ticket - only way to get there from where I live- and your flight returns late you've had your chips and would have to buy a replacement ticket at short notice for megabucks. I've had good experiences flying with Monarch into Birmingham recently.

I'd rather be on a train, to be honest, even though it costs double and takes 10 times as long. At least it's a pleasant experience, hate being on the airborne death-crates!

I always fly B.A., excellent service, hassle free, no arguing about weight, cabin crew excellent, nice leg room/ seat width, and their prices are, adding in all the extras on budget flights, as competitive. They feed and water you as well.

Never flying Easyjet again. Or Ryanair. Or Alitalia. Or Flybe...

BA all the way. Fed up with all the stuff you get charged for on the others only to be stuck with z-rated service. Much easier for me to just pay extra and have piece of mind.
