Are we going stir crazy?

    I reckon it doesn't do us gardeners much good being indoors all winter, looking out the window at the bare trees and piles of leaves. It reminds me of being on the farm, the old dairy cows used to get a bit restless and ratty being locked up for months, but what fun they had when you let them out for the first time in the spring:

      Blimey! Had a bit of trouble there getting the video in the post.

      Anyway, can you imagine that's the GC members frolocking out in the spring to start sowing and planting :)

      I froloked out there for about 30 seconds this afternoon and the wind blew me straight back in. Have now got a bag of seed compost so will be officially Making a Start forthwith.

        In a word, YES! I was hoping to get outside this week, but with gale force winds it just didn't happen. :sad:

        I spotted lambs here today John and reckon they were a couple of weeks old, a sure sign spring is on it's way. :yes:

          Wind is my biggest weather fear for sure! but ive been out packing sledges,spades away,clearing any signs of mould off greenhouse plants,kissing my rose cuttings :heehee:any excuse just to be in the garden for a while,plenty of birds tweeting away so i take that as a good sign :blue thumb:
          The cattle and sheep always seem to be in the fields here at some point during the day(apart from heavy snow) but i remember when we all released our horses out in(manchester)spring its was manic,what grass they could of had it that 1st field was churned up for a hour with the racing and buckarooing :heehee:
