I've seen them all so far. It's good to get a mix of stuff from past and present but a shame that Geoff hasn't featured so far and Percy too - he laid the foundations for TV gardening after all. At least i don't think there was anyone before him. Imagine that now though, gardening in a collar and tie lol.

7,30 am here in Wales, will set the recorder.now.
Why do they not realise they get massive audiences if they publicise, I even watch the scottish programes on Alba, ,through the iplayer. Must check when that starts again..

This a temporary state, or a lifestyle choice?

Per chance I tried searching on "Genre" on Sky-thingie the other day, and there was one for "Gardening" which brought up all these (plus a bunch of things on Blighty IIRC).

SkyPlus fast-forwards more effective than iPlayer I think?

It just sort of happened, we gradually found less and less to watch and eventually realised it never got switched on.

I reckon you either love or hate her. I think she is just a bit over the top in her gushing manner, but she does half know her stuff.

John, originally I 'agreed' your post and changed it it 'like' - I don't think CK is that bright - certainly I have the opinion that many of the members here know at least as much as CK does. I'm sure that view will be shared.

I agree, but how many of us would be prepared to wear white wellies!

I hadn't even noticed Joe Swift's arm! Too distracted by the patterned coat!

Monty Don is presiding over the finger-wagging in which Carol says she's going to be the new black-and-white tv test card.

Started watching the A - Z prog just by chance when TV was on one Sunday morning. Was pleasantly surprised to find that even though it's made up of old clips, there was a lot I'd never seen. It's quite nice to sit and watch clips from the growing season at this time of year.
