Nutrient Film Tecnique. You grow plants in rockwool or coco blocks and let the roots grow into a nutrient rich film of flowing water. It increases yield, oxygen to the roots and eliminates any soil born disieses. The plants put the energy they would have used pushing roots through soil into growing instead.

How does the flavour compare? Much shop bought produce is, as far as I understand, grown this way and tastes of nothing at all. Whereas less commercially viable naturally grown stuff often tastes of something. I sometimes wonder how much of the taste difference comes from the growing technique, and how much comes from the fact that once harvested, veg decays fairly rapidly as sugars turn to starch through natural processes.

Our local NFT farmer was in a Police Cell last night awaiting for the courts to open today :-)
He is not home yet, though his partner did come back this afternoon

The lots of lettuce they took away yesterday in bags did not look like Iceberg that I know and his Range Rover must have broken down as it went away on a low loader this morning :-)

Was it the rare and expensive kind of lettuce with 5 pointed leaves?

        It was so
A neighbour at the end of the Cul de Sac, very stand offish never mixed with the rest of us, 12' hedge around house
Yesterday was very interesting starting with the two busses, and the black boiler suits with blue crash helmets and knock on the door sticks
several hours of goings on, The blighters would not give me the sacks of rock dust though :-)

Strange set up though, three 12' sheds, all clean one a sauna, one a hot tub and one his kids play ground, all the stuff was upstairs in the house thus the reason his missus went away also
A policewoman took the kids away when they came home from nursery

I don't know the answer to this C1, but I wonder how much is to do with the varieties that the commercial guys grow?

Highest yields; lowest damage to fruit getting it to market (e.g. thick skins), and so on?

Growing ganja is a victimless crime as long as its for personal use. The police shouldnt have done that. How do they know hes not helping people who are sick with the plants. It cures cancer, diabeties and all sorts of other things. Poor kids have lost their father, who probably never stole or hurt anyone in his life, because the government protects the legal drug companies. This war on drugs is about money, not safety!!!!

Where I live we all grow our own smoke. There are no drug dealers because no one sells it. The crime rate is super low and everybody is really friendly. Cant governments see that ganja only leads to other drugs because its illegal!!!! Take away the crime and you take away the criminals.

I tried to prove to my missus how dangerous the plant is to smoke by researching about it and couldnt. Quite the opposite is true.
