Living in spain, I dont have to worry about a frost killing seeds so I bought a pack of mixed seeds from our local spar and started a few in a ziplock bag. I'll take a few pics of my space tomorrow.

Hi 12/12 ... here is some trellis we have put up at our river property and have planted Clerodendron, Pandorea and variegated Morning Glory to go over the trellis and the arch still to be built at the end ...

Hi 12/12 ... well, we are holding our breath in anticipation no one can see through once the climbers take over the trellis ... I was thinking perhaps you could put trellis on top of your wall, if not, butted up against it with climbers in pots ... Or, for immediate privacy, put up trellis (don't know about there but it's really cheap here in Leroy Merlin and other such DIY places) and staple the green mesh to it! :ideaIPB:

Woods expensive and I need somthing that fits in with the rest of the complex. Community rules and all that. Im plannin of putting a fence with black netting sort of stuff on the inside and trellis over that.

Whats the grey stuff on the ground? Tarmac or loose shingle?

I'd just attach a few lengths of trellis to those inside walls and let some grow all along and possibly over it. I think putting a fence up with black netting is a bit over the top personally.

Perhaps if you can/ are allowed to attach a pergola to side of your property and bring the supports down in front of the wall to create points of privacy rather than the whole thing begin inclosed.

Theres a reason I need the garden closed off to the outside world but I cant say why as its not legal in the uk and I dont want this thread getting locked.

The stuff on the floor is loose lava gravel stuff. The ground underneath is dust and boulders so at some point I'll be digging some of it up and filling it in with bags of soil. We get 50ltr bags for 11€ here so its not that bad.

Those plants are illegal here and carry a jail sentence if caught growing them. I know Spain MAY be more lenient than Portugal ... but not 100% sure regarding this, so watch your step sunshine ... ;)
