    Bah, do not like pancakes.
    Garden a no go.
Still, plans are a foot. Will move the little wall to encompass the shingle area, equals it all out. I'll then fill the whole area with play bark, make a little raised bed for the kids to grow some veg. Im then going to get some chooks in a run, my girls want them and to be honest, i miss them. We should still have room for a trampoline.
Eventually the walk way to the back will have a pergola walk way, but thats a long way off.

A path doesn’t make a garden especially with ice on it to make it treacherous.
Borders, wet sticky and cold, grass squelchy and sodden.
March is but a few weeks away, hurrah !

Valentine's Day bought me a gift from the wife. Two tickets to "An Evening with Monty Don" on the 22nd Feb in Guildford. A charity black tie event. Really pleased to get to meet the Don. Tickets still available by the way :blue thumb:

What a glorious morning. The sun was out, very chilly but in a sheltered spot it was positively pleasant. I even planted some Daffs that were potted up in September. They were spare and i have an area with none so in they went. First planting of the year

Indeed. Plan in March is to take out all the plants in that top corner then re-plant with additions. Smallest at front, largest at back etc.. Looking forward to it.

Well, another lovely day in the sun. Crisp but pleasant. Did some gardening but alas not in my garden. I tidied my dads roses up that have been neglected for years. Cut out dead wood and pruned back to what is a better shape. Very enjoyable.

Rhododendrons never look right. Horrible, smelly plants.

Are you working on your tan already?
