Canna ~2013~

Hi, I just had some Canna musifolia delivered. The top inch or so has snapped off two of them. Bad news or will they still grow?

 

A day later than anticipated my Canna seeds are sown and on the heated propagator base, next stop germination

 

Probably bad news, I'm afraid. How tall are they? Do they have leaf joints?

 

No sign of my Glauca yet,its been 4/5 days in the pots i think i need to start writing dates my tags

 

I just couldn`t resist to stop the car and ask for one of this canna





It`s a variegated canna , with red leaves and orange flower .

then stop again and asked for one of this



pink leaves variegated and pink flower .

and while i was there the lovely lady even gave me some of those



purple /black leaves with a bright orange flower .

Thanks Joolz , just spend 3 weeks in New Zealand , was boiling hot over there .......missed all the cold again .

Seen many variety of cannas over there , collected few seeds but once again don`t know the color ....

 

It was strange to come back , looking around and don`t see any forest or desert ...but was nice to get back

 

The purple leaf one looks great im jealous
Get some sleep sal you must be shattered... and then share all the goodies youve fetched back
I reckon your suitcase would of been full of seeds if ya could of
